Trained as a painter, but lacking the patience, Vik quite quickly transferred her passion to photography, where she continues to see in glorious techniclour.
Vik has been trapped in various bodies including those of a teacher, a play and youth worker, a tour guide and a steam engine driver. She is experienced with children and can build a rapport with people from all walks of life.
Experienced in performance photography, specialising in fire, Vik is an expert in difficult lighting conditions, and random happenings in large crowds. She can think on her feet and relax in the most bizarre and busy of situations
Vik has travelled around the world but looks for similarities rather than differences. A love of music and of words is fed by the same sense of rhythm that makes Heyokah images jump off the page
